Christmas celebrations will start almost in every home on the evening of December 24th, where thrilled young children are confident to go to bed early so as not to miss out the gifts from Santa Claus.
Christmas Eve in the United States is a jumble with lot of traditions. Several families open presents on Christmas Eve night, lots of people go to church, or include different kinds of dinners, like ham, goose, etc.
Traditions in other parts of the world include- The idea that natural world have the authority of talking at midnight on Christmas Eve. This fallacy exists in different parts of Europe, and no body can hear the beasts chat with impunity.
- There is also a French principle that on Christmas Eve, while the pedigree of Christ is being chanted at the Midnight Mass, hidden resources is revealed.
- In Russia all sorts of hidden treasures are thought to be revealed on the evenings between Christmas and the Epiphany, and on the eves of these festivals the universe are opened, and the waters of springs and rivers turn into wine.
